SmartLight allows you to ensure that your mobile phone's backlight is permanently switched on.
This can be very useful if you watch a lot of videos on your phone, or if you're fed up with the device dimming while you're doing something. Running SmartLight means that you don't have to keep nudging a button to light the phone up.
There's nothing much involved in using this app. You simply need to run the program, then select 'Hide' from the Options menu. SmartLight will then run in the background, keeping the backlight on during the whole time it's running.
You can deactivate the light again by returning to the SmartLight application and exiting. It's worth noting that keeping the phone's display light on for long periods of time will sap your battery quite a lot, so it should only really be used when you really need the light on.
All in all though, SmartLight offers an easy way to keep your phone's backlight switched on.
